Delete your account

Deletion is built into the app, needs no email to support, and is real: it erases your account, your Google connection, and everything our servers hold about you. This page explains each step, exactly what happens, and when.

Before you start

PRO subscribers: deleting your FitSend account does not cancel your Apple subscription, because Apple bills it, not us. The app warns you and opens Manage Subscriptions during deletion; you can also go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FitSend at any time.

Want a copy of your account data first? Use Export in the app’s Settings; it produces readable JSON of everything our servers hold.

The steps

  1. Open FitSend and go to Settings → Delete Account.
  2. If you subscribe to PRO, review the billing warning, and cancel the Apple subscription if you don’t want it to keep renewing.
  3. Choose what happens to the data FitSend has written to the Apple Health app: keep it on your iPhone, or remove it. Removal deletes only records FitSend created — nothing from your Apple Watch or other apps.
  4. Confirm. The confirmation is deliberately explicit, because this can’t be undone.

What happens next

When What happens
Immediately Your account is blocked, sessions are revoked, sync stops, and the app clears its local data. FitSend’s access to your Google data is revoked and the stored connection is erased.
Within 24 hours Your account and all its data are erased from primary systems.
Within 30 days Encrypted backups age out. A minimal anti-recreation marker, which cannot identify you, expires, existing only to stop stray background events from silently recreating a deleted account.

If you chose to keep the records FitSend added to the Health app, they remain on your iPhone under your control. Reconnecting later creates a fresh account — deletion leaves nothing to reactivate.

If you no longer have the app

Reinstall FitSend, connect the same Google account, and run deletion from Settings. This is the only supported path, and that’s a privacy feature: FitSend never has your name or email, so an email to support cannot prove an account is yours; your Google sign-in can.

Prefer to just cut FitSend’s access? You can revoke it from Google directly at myaccount.google.com/connections, and sync stops immediately. Account records on our side then remain until you delete the account in-app.
